Jill AND Mary

Jillian Noel Shennessy born 25th November 1968 in Canada, is a Canadian performer and actress that was recognized for her significant contribution for American television. She's best known for her amazing performances on the American TV programs like Law & Order (where she impressed viewers over three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she portrayed the lead character Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy also showed off her acting skills in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. She also wrote and directed these films. Hennessy began her acting career as an actress in Dead Ringers with her sister. In 1990, she made an appearance in a short stint on Broadway on Broadway as Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. She then moved into sci-fi and played her first role as Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. Later that same year she was appointed assistant prosecutor Claire Kincaid in the hit NBC Crime Drama Law & Order. Parker also won an award called the Tony Award for Best Actress 2001 in Broadway's play Proof.
