Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th October 1992), is an Indian actress. She is a regular as a character in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She received an award called the National Film Award as Best Actress in 2018 in the role of actress Savitri and her role in the Telugu film Mahanati. The other awards she received include three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South as well as three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the child of film producer G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her early career was as an actor for children. After completing her studies in Fashion Design, she re-entered acting. She had her first lead part in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was the romantic comedy Idhu Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu. The movie was not a success at the box office. In 2015 she released A. A. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu opposite each other. However, the films didn't do very well at the theaters. In order to accommodate bigger projects because of her busy schedule, she opted to not participate in certain films that she began to work on. It included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a love story) as well as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. She consequently made two films together with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo and also played the main part on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari, alongside Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. Though the release date for Janakitho Nenu is not yet confirmed, there is speculation that the film could be released in September 2020. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. In January 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa, opposite actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan. She appeared in Tamil movie Paambhu Satai and Telugu movie Nenu Local both in 2017.
