Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia was born in Canada. She is well-known among Canadians due to her work as an Canadian actress in the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters. Also, she appeared in Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda e Voltea to whom you are love. Also a dancer, she is a model. A Montreal native, she grew up in Texas and has always been fascinated by dance and performing. As a little girl she started to train in diverse forms of dance. In her 15th year she was participating in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia was a hit by her appearance on Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant show. In an episode from Telemundo's TV show, Telenovela Aurora in 2008, she was a receptionist. In 2015, she appeared in the action drama Tattooed Love, her debut film.
